Lydell attended Penn State University where he received his B.S. in 2009.   He played Defensive Back for Coach Joe Paterno and the Nittany Lions from 2005 until 2008. As a four-year letterman and All-Big Ten corner back, he was an influential member on Penn State’s 2005 and 2008 Big Ten Championship teams.  His transition from college to the pros in preparation for the NFL combine was televised on the NFL Network series “Prime U” with Deion Sanders.

After Penn State, he went on to play for the Buffalo Bills until 2011. Following his NFL career, Lydell served as Assistant Athletic Director at Penn State University and obtained his Masters Degree (M.S.) in Sports Management.

Lydell is a certified NFLPA contract adviser and represents professional athletes and coaches.  His firm Eastern Athletic Services (EAS) currently represents 45 players and a dozen coaches in the NFL.  Lydell travels across the country volunteering and helping youth groups of all ages and backgrounds.  He is currently a board member for the Penn State Football Letterman’s Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and Success With Honor (SWH).
