Great Lineup of Speakers: Doug McCary, Hollis Haff, Kim Costanza & More
Camp Peniel – Meyersdale, PA
Theme: “Declaring Jesus to be King in Every Area of Our Lives”
Scripture: “He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”
Colossians 1:13-14 ESV
We tend to rush to the forgiveness of sins promise at the end of this verse. We want our ticket punched for glory but don’t tell me about Christ’s kingship in my life. Redemption and deliverance; think transformation, sin’s penalty paid and sin’s power broken in our lives. This means that we are picked up after clearing waivers and transferred to the greatest dynasty in all of eternity! From the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of God’s beloved Son — King Jesus! What does this mean? Your work, your marriage, your relationships, raising your children have all been redeemed for a kingdom purpose. Every area of your life. They really matter for the kingdom of God! You will experience our Father’s delight in the stewardship of your time, talents, and treasure doing his will. You will view the discipleship of your family as your first garden to labor in with Christ as your yoke partner. Are you connecting the physical, mental and spiritual dimensions in your life under his kingship? Is fulfilling the great commission your passion? Our devotion as his disciples must deepen throughout our faith journey to be a living prayer:
“Our Father holy is your name. Let your kingdom come (in my marriage, work, family, church, and community), let your will be done on earth (as your steward, disciple maker, and friend to the poor) as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10
Some of the areas we will cover include: making disciples of our wives and children, building a legacy in strong marriages, and making our workplace a sacred space.
Doug McCary, former Harrier pilot and FBI SWAT leader (His Light Ministries), will be leading two powerful sessions along with Hollis Haff (Bonhoeffer Project Regional Rep), Kim Costanza (Del Rey Ministries), Jon Kolb (Founder ATP), and Leo Wisniewski.
