Clayton and Jenny Dye’s story began in the late 1990s when missionaries met them on a basketball court and in a sorority house at the University of South Alabama, where they encountered Jesus Christ and found their lives deeply satisfied in Him. From 2001 to 2012, they watched God build a missionary movement among athletes and fraternity and sorority students at Troy University. From 2012 to 2020, they helped launch and resource a regional, multi-ethnic movement in Houston while Clayton completed doctoral work on ecclesiology—together forming a deep conviction that missionary movements on college campuses are essential to the Church’s future. In 2020, they followed God’s leading to Penn State, believing that what is often called a “spiritually cold” Northeast is actually a post-Christendom culture hungry for the Gospel. Today, they labor to see missionary movements multiply among college students, convinced that campuses are not lacking openness—but missionaries.
